CBI is a religious institution granting certificates for use in non-secular ministries.   CBI is not a secular, degree granting institution.

ACADEMIC PREREQUISITES

Students seeking admission to an AA (60 credit), Th.G. (90 credit) or BA (120 credit) program, must have achieved one of the following:

1. High School certificate from a regionally accredited high school



2. Recognized home education graduation



3. High School equivalency certificate (GED)



4. Approval for early admission/high school dual enrollment



5. (or) Demonstrate competency in college credit post secondary course work, which can be achieved in one of several ways. Please ask your Admissions Counselor about the details

Students applying for "MASTERS" level course work, must have achieved either:

1. An appropriate 3 year (90 credit) level undergraduate certificate program, having completed the General Education requirements for a 4 year undergraduate certificate
   
   
2. (or) an appropriate 4 year (120 credit) level undergraduate certificate.

Students applying for "DOCTORAL" level course work, must have achieved an appropriate 6 year (or Masters) graduate certificate.

COLLECTION OF STUDENT SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS

Federal legislation requires that all post secondary institutions record student Social Security Numbers (SSN).

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT admission information is provided under an "Individual Program Admissions Policy”.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION

1. Application Fees will be collected before applications are processed and sent to our Academic Committee.



2. At the completion of the application process, students will receive "Conditions for Admission" information that outlines any outstanding requirements needed to complete the admissions process and a Detailed Plan / Syllabus / Curriculum Outline (as applicable).



3. All Academic Certificate seeking students are required to have transcripts sent to CBI within one term or they may not register for subsequent terms. Students may view transcript received/accepted information at (www.cbi.edu).

Failure to comply, may result in additional Application Fees.

Some programs may have additional admissions requirements. You will be notified of any such requirements during the APPLICATION PROCESS.
