1. WE BELIEVE - That man was created in the image of God and voluntarily fell from his sinless state consequently, all men are sinners and hopelessly doomed apart from the grace of God. (Genesis 1:27, 9:6; John 3:16; Romans 5:12, 3:23; Ephesians 2:1)
That the LORD Jesus Christ shed his blood and died to make atonement for all mankind. And that on the basis of his substitutionary death and his resurrection, all who believe, repent, and verbally accept Jesus Christ as saviour -receive God's gift of eternal life, and that because it is given wholly of grace and based upon the sacrifice of Jesus, salvation is eternally secure. (John 10:28-29 13:38-14:4; I John 5:12-13; Romans 10:9-10)
That "Ye must be born again". Without a Spiritual re-birth, you will not enter heaven. That translates into a negative experience of eternity in Hell. It is our desire to see you Born Again. (John 3:16)
2. WE BELIEVE - The new birth takes place when a person believes in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (God the Son) and trust Christ to save them by asking for salvation verbally, with the mouth. (1 Corinthians 15:1-3, Romans 10:9-13)
3. WE BELIEVE - Good works are only necessary because God desires us to do them. Salvation is by the "Grace" and "Mercy" of God -and not by works. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:2-3) You cannot loose your salvation. God saves by grace and maintains that condition for you by grace. (II Timothy 1:12, John 13:38 to 14:6)
4. WE BELIEVE - God loves you so much that Jesus was sent into the world to save your soul from destruction. He desires you to be saved. (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9)
5. WE BELIEVE - Once saved (born again) you need to be baptized and join a local New Testament Church. You need to be faithful to attendance, Bible study, and support of the Church. (Isaiah 58:13-14, Hebrews 10:25, Acts 2:41)
6. WE BELIEVE - God is racially "color" blind. " … the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7)
7. WE BELIEVE - That God exist in the Trinity; three co-eternal persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God. (Genesis 1:1, 26; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; John 10:30; I John 5:7-8)
In the virgin birth of Christ. That Jesus was God incarnate, conceived of the Holy Ghost, wholly man and wholly God, and totally apart from sin. (John 1:14, 18; Matthew 1:21-23; I John 4:2)
In the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ; the catching away, or rapture of his saints; followed by a seven year period of tribulation; the second coming of Jesus Christ; the millennium rule of Christ; the judgment of the unsaved; the destruction of the Earth; and the establishment of a new Heaven and a new Earth. (John 14:1-4; Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13; Titus 2:13; Revelation)
8. WE BELIEVE - The Lord's Supper and Baptism are ordinances of the Church to be administered to the Church as a local body of its members.
Baptism is a picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ and that the recipient must be saved and submissive to Church membership. (1 Peter 3:21)
The Lord's Supper is taken in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus, his broken body is represented by the broken bread and the new wine (grape juice) is a picture of the new testament (his promise of eternal life) in his blood. (Luke 22:5-20)
9. WE BELIEVE -The Great Commission was given to the Church to carry the message of the gospel into the neighborhood, the town down the road, and around the world. This commission was given -to win souls with the message of the gospel; baptize and build Churches; and teach sound doctrine to everyone, regardless of race. (Matthew 28:18)
10. WE BELIEVE - In the Genesis account of "six day" creation by the spoken Word of God. We reject the, so called, "scientific" theory of evolution. (Genesis 1:1-31, John 1:1-3)
11. WE BELIEVE - That sin is sin, regardless of who commits it. God forgives sin when the sinner repents, and ask for forgiveness. (1 John 5:17, 1 John 1:7-9)
12. WE BELIEVE - In the verbal inspiration, inerrantcy, and authority of the scriptures. We further believe that the Word of God has been preserved in the English language, in the King James Bible also known as the 'Authorized Version' or '1611' Bible. (II Timothy 3:15; II Peter 1:20-21)
We use only the "King James, AV1611" English Bible because it is the only complete English translation of the Scripture and was translated from manuscripts handed down by the early Church.
Throughout the past three and a half Centuries, Christians have willingly given their lives to own and use a King James Bible. We believe that we have a responsibility to study our Bibles and apply the scriptures to our lives. (II Timothy 2:15, 2 Peter 3:9)
For this reason, we use O N L Y the King James, 1611AV Bible in our studies.
13. WE BELIEVE - That the power of God is in His Word:
"Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God." (Mat 22:29)
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation . . ." (Romans 1:16)
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18)
"By the word of truth, by the power of God . . ." (2 Corinthians 6:7)
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." (Romans 10:17)
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God," (Hebrews 11:3)
"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, . . . . . but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store" (2 Pet 3:5)
" . . . . . and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." (James 1:21)
14. WE BELIEVE - That we have a responsibility to teach the Word of God:
"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." (2 Tim 2:2)
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Tim 2:15)
"For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you." (1 Corinthians 11:19)
15. WE BELIEVE - In the independence of the Local Church and its commission to win souls and build Churches. (Acts 1:8, 8:4, 16:5)
